High-mix electronics manufacturing is still expanding.
Velocity Group has opened a new 80,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Ohio, tripling its production capacity and expanding support for high-mix, low- to mid-volume electronic and electromechanical products.
That is an interesting signal for the wider supply chain.
Regional manufacturing is growing, but these factories still depend on strong upstream partners for:
• PCB fabrication
• Materials
• Prototype builds
• Specialized processes
• Supply flexibility
• Repeat production
For EMS companies, the goal is not necessarily to manufacture every process under one roof.
It is to build a supply chain that can respond quickly when the product changes.
At ShinePCB, we work with overseas OEMs and manufacturing partners that need flexible PCB and PCBA support from China—from stack-up review and prototypes through stable production.
Regional manufacturing and Asian PCB sourcing can work very well together.
